So I posted this on Current, and it was quietly moving its' way up to the top 10 when, 'POOF' it completely disappeared. 
I suppose I should expect this sort of thing from the new Current though....check it out if you like.  I had a comment in there
that linked back to Encyclopedia Dramatica, and a blog comment about how they may have been involved in taking down Scroogle, another non-tracking search engine....but I deleted those, not sure why I did, might as well have left them.  Some potential hackers activities could be illuninated doing a basic search on ED....but still, not sure that is the reason why Current felt compelled to make this item disappear.  Wow, just wow.

Great post.The reason is their AD PARTNERS object to it. It's usually in the contract not to allow promotion/distribution of etc, etc,

Adblock Plus has worked so well for me that I was on Current for about 6 months or so before I even knew it was ad-supported.  I just surfed there one day on Chrome (sans Adblock) and was dumbfounded at how different it looked with the ads.  True story!!!

yes, it disappeared, I took some questionable links out of it (linked out to some hacker's site), and 'poof' it reappeared....the irony being that the piece was about censorship.  o well....
